A New Direction for Profiles

Our new issue, Profiles Magazine number 39, represents the latest effort in nearly sixteen years of publications serving the PTC/USER community at large. Over this time, PTC has grown from a startup company offering a single product, to a mature organization providing a suite of software and services globally to myriad industries and technical disciplines. The PTC/USER community has developed and evolved significantly as well, encompassing MCAD, product lifecycle management and technical publishing professionals today.

From humble beginnings in 1991 as a newsletter, to a four-color magazine in 1997 and a web-based magazine in 2001, Profiles has adapted appropriate technologies to serve its subscribers. To remain relevant and useful for our readers in 2007 and beyond, it is essential that Profiles Magazine continue its own advancement.

In the coming months, you will see the emergence of a new kind of Profiles Magazine: timely, informative, and interactive, fulfilling the needs of the entire PTC/USER membership, including Windchill®, Arbortext® and Mathcad® users.

As we develop this new magazine, we invite you to share your thoughts and wishes with us. With your assistance, we will create publications with even greater value for you than ever.
