PTC Acquires CADTRAIN

Last week, Pro/ENGINEER education developer CADTRAIN announced that it had been acquired by PTC. In a letter to customers, CADTRAIN President Dennis Stajic states that "the combination of CADTRAIN's eLearning solutions with the existing PTC training offerings and resources will result in more learning content and new, exciting learning options for our customers. PTC will continue to offer, develop and support the CADTRAIN COACH curriculum and the COACH/LMS product."

Dennis goes on to say that the acquisition will help enable a thorough integration of COACH topics with PTC's Precision Learning methodology. As so many of our members utilize CADTRAIN products, we hope to have a more comprehensive article assessing the impact of this acquisition in our January issue.
