PTC/USER, Inc. is an independent, not-for-profit corporation organized by volunteers for the benefit of the worldwide community of PTC customers.

Our mission:

• To provide education and communication services for our members

• To act as a unified voice representing the membership to Parametric Technology Corporation

It was great to see so many old friends at the 2004 PTC/USER World Event, with 1310 members of the community on hand in Nashville. A few people commented that they thought it was the best conference ever. It certainly had the biggest tradeshow floor in several years.

In our latest issue of Profiles Magazine, there's a complete rundown of the activities, including some news about the new nTAG interactive badges which debuted at the World Event. You can also read reports from Edwin Muirhead and Kelly Bryant on their experiences in Nashville. The World Event site also has downloads of updated presentations and sessions that were not included on the CD-ROM.

Farewell Friends
With the conclusion of the 2004 World Event, four senior Board members of PTC/USER are either stepping down or beginning their transitions off of the Board of Directors. We wish to thank these volunteers for their dedicated efforts on behalf of PTC software users everywhere. They are listed with their terms of service and positions held.

Ron McCuskey (Board Member 1994-2004; Vice President and President);

Linda Rodda (Board Member, 1999-2004, Director of Regional User Groups, Secretary, Treasurer);

Don Patterson (Board Member, 1991-2004, Director of Internet Services, Vice President, President);

and Pierre Quesnel (Board Member 1992-2004, Director of Technical Committees, Vice President, President).
