Any description of last week's PTC/USER World Event 2006 requires the use of numerous superlatives. 1944 PTC/USER members attended the 17th annual event, more than any previous conference in history and besting the old record of 1756 set in Orlando in 2000. We featured record numbers of technical sessions and training, and the largest exhibit hall ever, filling 57,000 square feet at the Gaylord Texan Resort. We want to thank all of our members for your fantastic support of PTC/USER, one of the most dynamic independent user organizations in the software industry.
What Does "Independent" Mean?
Unlike most conferences, the World Event is organized by volunteers from the PTC customer base. Your fees along with contributions from our Industry Partners fund operations. The agenda is set by volunteers, and much of the content is created by our community experts. The Board of Directors, along with the staff, Technical Committees, and Regional User Group chairs work very hard to ensure that your voice is heard by PTC.

Presentations Update
Several presentations given at the World Event were updated subsequent to the production of the official event CD. We are making these updated presentation files available at our web site as they are submitted by our authors.
