Modifying Many Dimensions at Once
in Pro/ENGINEER® 2001

In the new release of Pro/ENGINEER 2001®, it is impossible to use the Modify Dimension command as in 2000i² and then Pick Many. PTC’s workaround was to reinstall 2000i² and create a mapkey.

Instead of doing that, here is the mapkey “code” that will allow you to use a bounding box in Pro/ENGINEER 2001 to modify many dimensions at once.

mapkey $F7 @MAPKEY_NAME Drag Window To Modify Dimensions;\

@MAPKEY_LABELModify_Dimensions_Many;#MODIFY;#DIMENSION; #PICK MANY

I set up my mapkey for F7, with a name of “Drag Window To Modify Dimensions.”
