Have you ever wanted to change the text height for notes and dimensions when you are publishing information about your model? Here’s how to do it.

1. Select Options from the Utilities pull-down menu (Fig. 1). Note: In Pro/ENGINEER® Release 2000i, you must select Preferences.

2. In the Options window, type “text_height_factor” and a value (Fig. 2). The smaller the value, the larger the text. Since the default value is about 60 (Fig. 3), a value of 30 will double the text height displayed (Fig. 4).

3. Select Add/Change and OK.

4. Close the Options window.

5. Close and re-open the model window to view the results.
