Dimension Justification Made Easy

When you have a view with a lot of dimensions like the one below, Pro/ENGINEER 2001 provides a simple way to improve the appearance and interpretation of the drawing. With this technique, you can align ordinate and linear dimensions without creating snap lines.

1. Press shift and click on all dimensions you would like to align.

2. With all selected dimensions highlighted, click on just one dimension and move it to the desired position.

3. Do the same for linear dimensions.
